Biography
Dr. Malladi is a Board Certified Physiatrist who specializes in the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal and pain disorders primarily involving the neck, back and joints.
Clinical Interests:
Chronic pain management, industrial medicine, neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, electrodiagnostics, joint injections.
Education
Dr. Malladi graduated from the University of British Columbia Medical School in 2002. She completed a Medical Internship at Staten Island University Hospital, followed by Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington. Since Residency, she has worked at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center doing chronic spine/joint pain and arthritis management, as well as in private practice performing interventional procedures prior to joining UBC.
Professional Background
Dr. Malladi continues to do research in pain management and electrodiagnosis. She has published on neuromuscular diseases which are used as case studies for teaching medical residents and for continuing medical education for practicing physicians. She is the author of the book So You Want to be a Doctor?, a guidebook for college students interested in a medical career.

Dr. Malladi is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
