Biography
Jan has joyfully returned to UBC, Inc., after many years working as a private vocational counselor. She works as the Treatment Team Coordinator, Vocational Counselor, and Clinic Manager, at UBC's Redmond clinic.
Education
Jan obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from California State University, Chico, in 1978. She obtained a Masters Certificate in Disability Management from Western Washington University in 2003 and obtained her Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) credential in 2004. In 2010 Jan completed her Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University where her focus was on leadership development and organizational communication.
Professional Background
Jan has worked as a private sector VRC for the State of Washington since 1988. She has worked collaboratively with injured workers, claims, and employers. Jan previously worked at UBC as a VRC in the late 80's and early 90's. Jan also works as a Volunteer Guardian Ad-Litem for Snohomish county advocating for foster children.
