Work Hardening
Our CARF-accredited Work Hardening is an interdisciplinary treatment service that increases an individual's capacity and tolerance to perform a specific job through simulated work activity and conditioning. Education is provided in the areas of posture, body mechanics, and self-management skills. Clients attend therapy daily and have an individualized schedule of gradually increased hours. Typically work hardening is four to six weeks in length. This program is tightly coordinated between all providers, the employer, and the client.
