Thank you for all you have done!

Wounded Wings (poem)

Oh what I have found with my wings so

Tight and bound

Pain fills my mind, heart and soul

With wounded wings I have found.

As my days begin, I feel such despair

Like there’s no one here that really cares

I’ve grown so old over night it seems

Where there once was laughter, hope and

Dreams all I have is my wounded wings

So I come to you with an open mind…..

Could you please take a look and let me

Know what you might find?

For my life like this is no life at all….

So please heed my plea with these wounded

Wings of mine……

Let me sail away to heed no mind…..

For I do not want these wounded wings of

Mine.
